This policy covers the Snapfzz website and the Snapfzz iPhone app. It is written to describe the product as it exists today: a client-side AI workspace that can use on-device intelligence and connections you configure to third-party AI providers.
Overview
Snapfzz is designed to give you control over how you use generative AI. The app is client-side: it does not operate a Snapfzz-hosted model backend for your conversations. Instead, you can use available on-device intelligence or connect a third-party provider or compatible endpoint with credentials you choose to supply.
When you use a third-party provider, that provider processes the prompts, files, images, or other content you send to it. Its privacy policy and terms apply to that processing. Snapfzz does not control those independent providers.
Information we handle
Website information
When you visit our website, our hosting and security providers may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, request time, referring page, and server logs. We use this information to deliver, secure, and maintain the site.
The website stores a light or dark theme preference locally in your browser. This preference is not intended to identify you. If we add optional analytics, advertising, newsletters, or account features in the future, we will update this policy and provide any notices or choices required by applicable law.
App information
Within the app, your conversations, drafts, attachments, settings, and configured endpoints may be stored on your device, depending on the feature and your configuration. Provider credentials are intended to be stored in your device Keychain rather than sent to Snapfzz.
Messages to us
If you contact us by email, we receive the information you include, such as your name, email address, message, and any attachments. Please do not send sensitive information that is not necessary for us to address your request.
How information is used
We use information to operate the website, respond to messages, protect against abuse and security incidents, comply with legal obligations, and improve the reliability of Snapfzz. We do not sell personal information or use your app conversations to train a Snapfzz model.
AI providers and your keys
Snapfzz can connect to third-party AI providers and compatible endpoints. If you choose to configure one, the app may send the content you request it to send—including prompts, messages, and selected attachments—to that provider or endpoint so it can return a response. You are responsible for reviewing the provider’s privacy practices, data-retention settings, regional availability, and acceptable-use requirements before connecting it.
Keep your device secure and do not share provider credentials. You can remove a provider connection from the app when you no longer want to use it.
Retention and deletion
We retain website security logs and correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. You can remove locally stored app conversations, attachments, and provider configurations through the app where those controls are available. Deleting content from Snapfzz does not automatically delete copies held by a third-party provider; consult that provider’s policy and controls.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about personal data we hold about you. You may also have rights to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email hello@snapfzz.com. We may need to verify your request before responding.
Residents of certain jurisdictions may have additional rights under local privacy laws. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Changes and contact
